Joey Tomassoni
Joey has served in vocational ministry contexts for twenty-five years, including two church plants, leading multiple international mission projects, and serving as lead pastor of Downtown Hope for eighteen years. Joey holds a Master's in Fine Arts (MFA) from American University, a Master's in Applied Theology (MTh) from the University of Oxford, and will continue his research through a PhD in the Fall of 2026. He and his family reside in Annapolis, MD.

Aaron Mayhew
Aaron has more than 20 years of experience in vocational ministry and nonprofit leadership—including pastoral ministry, missionary, and church planting experience in Latin America. He holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration and a master of arts in leadership with a focus on pedagogy. When he’s not leading the Estuary Team, you can find him making brick oven pizza, firing up the smoker, pulling espresso shots, or spending time with his family.
